A little about Ima

I am an aspiring software engineer with a passion for technology, data, and business development. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in computer science and have gained about 2 years of experience in the tech space.

My journey began with volunteering my skills wherever possible, such as mentoring and tutoring younger students in engineering subjects. This dedication led to a rewarding 2-week placement at my university. Last year, I was fortunate to be accepted into the Aleto Leadership Program, which provided an internship that helped me overcome barriers as a person of color and a woman in tech, and advanced my career. Since then, I have completed a year-long placement at a company and taken on a contract as a software developer.

Beyond software engineering, I am interested in the Sustainable Development Goals and how technology can help achieve these goals. I look forward to giving back to the Aleto Foundation and ensuring delegates have the best experience.
