Harry McKenzie

My name is Harry McKenzie, I am 23 years old and I come from Canterbury. I am a recent graduate from the University of Kent having studied my MA in sociology and I am a local councillor in Canterbury. I am passionate about renewable energy because I understand that climate change represents two things: an existential threat to all life on earth, and an immensely lucrative opportunity to boost our economy and lower bills by transitioning away from fossil fuels. I spend a lot of time on campaigns and projects to help tackle climate change and poverty, and I want to spend my career doing these things as well. So, I am here to gain the skills and knowledge I need to build a career in the green energy industry so I can do those things by contributing to the transition to renewable energy.
