Our volunteers keep the alumni community active, engaged, supportive and impactful. These flexible volunteer roles help us stay connected and support the next generation of leaders. Most roles require only a small monthly commitment.
Purpose:
Help organise engaging events that strengthen connections within the alumni community.
Key Responsibilities:
Support planning and coordination of alumni events (online and in-person)
Help research venues, speakers, and activities
Assist with event logistics and scheduling
Help manage event registrations and attendance lists
Support smooth running of events on the day

Purpose:
Support clear and consistent communication within the alumni network so members stay informed and engaged.
Key Responsibilities:
Help draft newsletters, announcements, and alumni updates
Assist with email communications and mailing lists
Support the promotion of alumni opportunities and events
Help collect and share alumni stories and achievements
Contribute ideas to improve how we communicate with alumni

Help identify fundraising opportunities and ideas

Monitor comments and messages where appropriate

Purpose:
Support outreach and recruitment for the Aleto Programme by representing the alumni network at your university.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote the Aleto Programme to students at your university
Share information about application opportunities
Encourage suitable students to apply
Support outreach activities such as information sessions or campus events
Act as a link between Aleto and your university community

Purpose:
Support current programme participants and recent alumni through guidance and encouragement.

Provide one-to-one or small group mentoring
