The Music is Black: A British Story

Spanning 125 years of Black music-making across four continents, this landmark immersive exhibition at V&A East explores the power and cultural impact of Black British music — from jazz and sound system culture to lovers rock, rave culture, and grime.

Over 120 tracks from every era play directly through your headset as you move through the space, alongside artefacts from Joan Armatrading, Skepta, So Solid Crew, Mis-Teeq, and more.
